Q: Who is my third party outsourcing agreement with?
A: The logistics company.

Q: Can I receive the reduced outbound freight rates by shipping from my own warehouse?
A: No. Freight rates are directly related to shipments from the logistics facility.

Q: Is there a limit to how much product I can warehouse?
A: No. Storage capacity is virtually unlimited.

Q: Do you have international freight/transportation/distribution capabilities?
A: Yes, 89 distribution centers in 34 countries. Not all locations are currently equipped to manage third party logistics programs. It will be considered on a case by case basis. The logistics company is capable of shipping internationally pursuant to government restrictions for client’s products.

Q: Can I store my product in more than one facility?
A: Yes. There are 5 facilities in the U.S. and 2 in Southern Canada.

Q: Does the facility have light assembly and kitting capabilities?
A: Yes. The logistic company engineers will work on a solution that meets your needs.

Q: How am I charged for the logistics services?
A: You are basically charged for only those services you use. Charged per piece of inventory received, the bins occupied and inventory shipped and an administrative charge.

Q: How am I charged for freight services?
A: You are charged for freight services you use. Charges are based on the logistics company cost plus a mark up.

Q: Can I use my own outbound freight account?
A: Maybe, but an analysis probably will indicate it is more cost affective to use the logistics company account.

Q: Who is responsible for inbound transportation to the logistics company?
A: The Client is responsible for arranging delivering of inventory to the logistics company.

Q: Can I obtain freight tracking numbers?
A: Yes. Shipping reporting is available that will provide tracking number(s) for each shipment.

Q: Can I see my inventory in real time?
A: Approximately. Inventory is not available in real-time, but can have a delay of up to 2 to 3 hours.

Q: Is my inventory safe and secure?
A: Yes. You are responsible for inventory insurance and the logistics company has a secure system to protect your property.

Q: How accurate is the logistics company with its shipping?
A: The logistics company currently has a 99.8% shipping accuracy rate.

Q: Can I communicate electronically with the logistics company?
A: Yes, you can either utilize EDI or a manual, web based interface (XML).

Q: Will the logistics company process my returns?
A: Yes, upon request. Additional fees may apply.

Q: When am I billed for the services and freight costs?
A: Weekly.

Q: Are freight bills and logistics charges sent separately?
A: All freight bills and logistics charges are sent at the same time but are separated.

Q: How am I charged for packing material?
A: Packing materials (repack box, void fill and tape) are included in the fulfillment charges. At cost, this should be lower than yours.

Q: Will shipping documentation have my companies name on it?
A: Yes, packing labels and packing slip other data will indicate the product came from your company.

Q: Do I need any special labeling on my products?
A: The logistics company requires that your products are properly labeled and have UPC's on each.
